Educational Visit Project No: 01

A Health Talk Session with the title: "WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AS AN ADOLESCENT: HYGIENE, PHYSICAL HEALTH, EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE & OTHER ISSUES", held at Christ College Zaria Nigeria on 23rd February 2022

This is a report of the Health outreach to educate high school student at Christ College, Zaria, Nigeria on what needed to be known by an adolescent aged person held on 23rd February, 2022. Engr. Ibrahim A. Kazeem gave a brief introduction about The Pencil Team goals, aim and objectives. He also gave a concise talk about the different forums under The Pencil Team. He mentioned the aim and objectives of the Health and Life matters forum of the Team. Dr. (Mrs). Ayandumola Folake Oyegoke (the Forum Moderator) gave a comprehensive talk about different stages of Adolescence and some of the normal experiences of Adolescents. She explained the meaning of Health to the students and things we can do to stay healthy. She talked about how Adolescents can be mentally, socially, and emotionally healthy. She gave advice to the female student on how to manage the Adolescent age. Mr. Ayodeji O. Ojetunde gave a little advice to the male students on how to manage the Adolescent age. Questions were asked by the Health and Life matters forum and any student with the correct answer gets a token of a pen. 72 menstrual pads were shared to the female students.
